Hamburger Stew

(Prep + Cooking Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 4)

5 ounces tomato sauce

1 lb. 85% lean ground beef

6 cups frozen mixed vegetables (corn, okra, carrots, peas and green beans)

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tbsp. chicken broth base

2 tbsp. tomato paste

1 tbsp. soy sauce

3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

1 tsp. salt or as your liking

2 tsp. black pepper


Now Press “Sauté” on the Instant Pot. When the pot is hot, add the beef and cook, stirring just enough to break up the clumps, for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the frozen vegetables, tomato sauce, vinegar, tomato paste, chicken broth base, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Now Press “Cancel”

Now secure the lid on the pot and close the valve. Now Press “Manual” and set the pot at “High” pressure for 5 minutes

After completing the cooking time, allow the pot to sit undisturbed for 10 minutes, then release any remaining pressure. Stir in the lemon juice and serve.
